Women's role in the Abolition of Slavery
Introduction
Throughout history, many prominent male figures, such as Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass, are shown to be the group that led to the abolition of slavery. However, it is essential to highlight women's instrumental roles during the mid-19th century and the methods they used to advocate for the eradication of slavery. Such figures paved the way for the creation of how we know America today, and their efforts are how America got where it has gotten.
